do it my self or buy any advice on this knife?

    im looking for a new knife , a special knife , homemade or from a shop or person... if any one can help it would be great im looking to get a bone knife ... any advice on what(?) bone to use ,how(?) to make or where(?) to get my hands on one would help alot.. thanks guys

    hi mate. personally i dont know much about knives so cant help you with the type of bone or anything. but theres a bloke over on the airgunforum who hand makes knives for the members. i havent had one off him but the pictures look great and all the reviews of his work are good. if you want i could get his email addy for ya?

    Get yourself the biggest beef marrow bone you can find and roast it, take out the marrow(lovely to eat) saw the bone length wise into 4 equally sized pieces and that will give you 4 blanks to practice on

    go into a pet shop, buy a dog bone with the meat paste in the middle, push that out with a screwdriver and clean up with an old toothbrush, cut the bone lengthways and you have your blanks to play wish.
    usual price of the doggy bone is around a quid.

    A would suggest doing yourself m8 av been buying old rasp files there ment to be good for knife blanks am just getting the tools and the metal together and am going to give it a go

    So get some charcoal, a cheap fire basket and a foot pump and build yourself a forge and get hammering
