A Ghillie Kettle is a very simple and ever reliable method of boiling upto 1.5ltrs of water quickly with minimum fuel cost. Ideal for adventure travel and Bushcraft. They are lightweight and reliable. Simply pour Water into the kettle and put the whistle on. The chimney contains the combustible material that lies in the bottom of the pan on which the kettle sits. Once lit flames rise through the middle of the chimney and heat the water. The hole through the bottom of the pan allows more twigs, paper etc to be added and also allows oxygen to be sucked in as the flames rise. You can continue to add combustible items down through the center of the chimney if you need to. The whistle is a very good safety feature. The Ghillie Kettle comes with full instructions. Ideal for any number of activities such as overlanding, camping and fishing. Can be used in all conditions as long as you can light the fire: It is quick, clean and durable. Burns twigs, fir cones dry leaves, straw, news paper etc.
