Summer Camp Adventure Weekend in South Wales (In conjunction with Active Shooter Forum) - June 2012

Had a meeting with the farmer today and everything has been agreed, we just have to finalise on which Thursday to Sunday weekend in June it will be, and should be sorted by tomorrow. We're actually camping on the Quarry top field, which is just above the famous Quarry FT and HFT shooting grounds, (probably one of the best shooting grounds in the country). The shooting grounds will be available to us on Thursday, and Friday. On Saturday afternoon we have a challenge with the Quarry FT club followed by an evening campfire and barbaque. Sunday morning we will be shooting either on the Quarry site, or at the Triple A rifle club if the weather is bad. A prize is being donated by APC Overnight for this competition. Sunday afternoon will be a quick site clear up and then we depart for home. The cost to cover camping and the shooting grounds will be £25 per head.

As it stands it's looking like a fantastic adventure weekend with several other options available such as.

Thursday afternoon course fishing at a private well stocked lake. (prices to be advised, but very reasonable)

Friday afternoon, canoeing on the fabulous river Wye. One of the most beautiful rivers in the UK with miles of safe canoeing All equipment will be provided (prices to be advised, but not to be missed if you can afford it - (budget £20 - £25 all in) if there's enough of us, will probably negotiate for around £20 per head. Training will be available to those who need it. It's a thirty minute drive from the campsite to the canoeing site.

Further details will be posted later.

Please let me know if you are interested in this event. If you've already put your name on our Active Shooter Forum, there's no need to add it again on here.
